We are dedicated to delivering world-class expertise in chemical and biological measurement, providing trusted reference methods, materials, and measurements that underpin confidence in analytical results.
As part of our host organisation, LGC, many of our analytical methods and measurements are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 for testing and calibration. A number of these methods have also been verified through participation in key comparison studies organised by the Consultative Committee for the Amount of Substance (CCQM) of the International Weights and Measures Organisation (BIPM), further demonstrating our measurement capabilities as a National Measurement Institute.
In addition to ISO/IEC 17025, LGC also holds ISO 17034:2016 accreditation as a reference material producer for the Office of Reference Materials within the NML, with a portfolio of over 100 products that fall within our scope of accreditation to ISO 17034:2016.
